Zoo Fun?

Well, we spent the day at the zoo today. It was Lorynn's first trip! They were doing quite a bit of construction on some of the exhibits so we didn't get to see all the animals. I'm glad that they are fixing it up though, our poor zoo really needs it!

Even though we had fun, I feel like I spent most of my time yelling at my kids. Lorynn was especially onery today! She didn't want to ride in the stroller and she HAD to walk. Lately she has been testing out her new found independence. And today she REALLY tested it!

Out of the Shadows..

Well, this is it. The jumping off point. I have to admit that this makes me more than a little nervous.. Some will say there is nothing to be gained by sharing your story. And, being the private person that I am, I am not altogether comfortable being in the spotlight. But there
is something that keeps drawing me here. . And so I sit and I write. I am hoping to use this
blog to keep me focused. As a place to meditate and to move forward. And of course, a place
to share my art, my passions and what inspires me.

Here is my latest layout of my Brenna. I have been holding onto this picture. It's one of my favorites. She had been playing dress-ups (thus the makeup and glitter) and I was actually
able to capture a shot of her without her posing too much for it.
