Today has been crazy busy for me! I do some graphic design work for a local photographer. And I had 8 images from her today! Basically, I combine two separate photos togther for her. Masking and lots of burning in shadows. It's fun, but can be a little time consuming when I have to cut the background out of tiny, fine baby hair. These are some images that I have been working on today.



I did also sneak a few minutes today an made another Artist Trading Card. I signed up for Rhonna's ATC Swap on 2Peas, so I need to get crackin'! I love creating these though, I could do it all day!

Inspiration's Where YOU Find It!

So I ACTUALLY have gotten on my treadmill TWO DAYS in a row this week!! Which is actually a big feat for me being that I had to actually dust it off first! Two days closer to my goal, though! I am trying to work out everyday for a month.

I have been waiting for someone to invent a little eye piece that allows me to surf the internet while I jog. I'm not asking for much! It could have voice activation;
"Scroll Down, Next Page.." You know!

But until then : ) I just grab my Ipod mini (Man! I love those things!!) And my most current scrapbooking magazine.. (Legacy is definitely my fav!)
And I find myself becoming so inspired!! It's a great way to refresh my thoughts and focus my creative energies! Yes, It has only been two days.. But I am determined to make this just another part of my daily routine!!

My Very First ATC

Well, I thought I'd see what all the talk was about and try my hand at my very first Artist Trading Card. It was actually quite freeing to only have a small canvas to work with. I may still have to tinker with it a bit; But I wanted to share!



I can see these being a very therapeutic addiction for me! I'm going to have to try more soon!

Conventions ROCK!!

So I have been talking with Nancie and we have decided to teach a class at the upcomming PCCRAFTS Convention!! I am SO EXCITED about this!! We are going to be teaching an advanced element class; I think mostly we will be covering texture and brushes and how to give your papers and elements a certain sense of reality.. And doing it together with Nancie is going to be so much fun!! Yeah! We will be able to just hang out togther; how cool is that?!

I have also been working on a new kit. But I am doing something a little different. I am offering this kit as a reward for participating in my upcomming challenge. Here is some paper that I have been working on; Still needs some tweekin' though.



This will actually be a month long challenge and a contest rolled into one. MY FABULOUS design team is helped me plan it all out! They are SO WONDERFUL!!

I know I may have gone a bit over board with my DT. But I really couldn't help it!! I had SO MANY fabulous applicants that I just couldn't say no!! (What can I say, I am a softy!) So what started out as adding two or three, turned more into 4 or 5, SO total with my Forum Moderators and everything I have 15 YIKES!! ( Is this just the needy artist in me wanting to be loved?? ) But my team is REALLY FABULOUS!! And if pressed, I wouldn't want to loose any of them!! And I count myself as lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful creative engery! : )

Take A Look At My New Six Pack : )

So I have some new product out at SMD! I made some fun paper packs last night, and I couldn't wait to get them up in my shoppe! I've decided that my PASSION is creating
papers. I just Love it! Elements, I could leave or take, but I am LOVING the whole process of creating papers, chosing patterns and colors and creating texture, It's just so much fun!!

Aaah! Where has the week gone?! Wow, I guess I was taking some Holiday time? : )
We had a spectacular July 4th; spent with family and friends. Watched our little city parade, but I have to say, that people NEVER cease to amaze me.
(Crazy Story to follow:)

SO we are at the parade, having fun, Brenna and I were waiting for my mom's float to pass by. The bank she works for did a float this year and they were throwing out beach balls. So we see her coming up the street and we stand up and get ready. Well, My mom tosses out a ball and my little sister jumps up and catches it; when this boy comes out of nowhere and seriously tackles my sister to the ground trying to get this beach ball from her! He's jumping all over her! I start yelling at this kid to back off! ( I think my motherly instincts were starting to kick in ) And his mother comes over and starts yelling at me; "Don't yell at my kid", She says, "He's Sensitive!" Sensitive??!! He's just knocked my sis to the ground!!

So my sister is yelling at this kid, His mother is yelling at me, I'm yelling at everyone at this point, Brenna is crying because her newly acquired beach ball has just been popped, and I am thinking to myself; What is it about July 4th that brings out the white trash in everyone??

Crazy! I don't think we will be making the parade next year!! : )

But other than this little incident; we really did have a great holiday! We spent the rest of the day swimming, eating!, and just hanging out with family.
