Girl Power!!

Today has been so relaxing; Hubby took the kids to the library and they have been gone all morning. I actually got to read my email without having to answer a million questions from my daughter!

And yesterday I put my new kit up in the store!
It's different from anything I've done so far, Not so vintage; but still distressed! : ) (What can I say? I am the QUEEN of grunge!) Here's a preview:

I have even had some time to do a layout with it!

I just love this photo of my daughter, is really shows her fabulous personality.
She's such a diva!

I am working on making a boy kit too. I am sponsoring DSW next month and I made them a mini kit. I'm thinking of turning it into a mega kit though. It all came together this morning while my family was away. (Man! I LOVE working uniterrupted! I am amazed at what I can actually get done!)

Here is a preview of the free crop kit at DSW:

So What's new With You??

Well, I've been busy! : ) And I thought I had better sit down and blog something before I completely fall out of the habit!

So I haven't even blogged about the changes to Second Mile Designs! Oh, I am so bad!
But honestly, I am so grateful to find such a wonderful business partner. Nancie is such a fantastic designer and I am honored to be her friend. And she is just such a pleasure to work with!! I think that we make a great team!

Our site is up and looking good. but we've been having these crappy server issues!! It is SO FRUSTRATING!! As anyone who runs their own website surely knows; technical issues SUCK! We will be moving to a better server this week; and I will be so glad to put these crappy performance issues behind us! UGH!

Tonight though, we were 'THE SITE WITHOUT A SERVER!' We were supposed to be holding our kick off crop and our server actually went down. It was a nightmare!

But thank heaven's for small miracles!! Amy Edwards came to our rescue!! (Amy, I still cannot thank you enough!!) She VERY GENEROUSLY offered the main SBB Chat room for us to use. And she helped us send out emails to let everyone know about the change! What class! She totally saved us!

So thanks to Amy, our crop was a blast! I actually even got something scrapped with our kit!

Miracles Never Cease! : )
